This layered ornament can be made several ways, with either 3, 4, or 5 layers. For a more dramatic look, try using different types or shades of wood – either mix varieties, or stain paint. With the full 5 layers, you ll have an outer layer with O Holy Night engraved, and a background piece with the Star of Bethlehem scored. I included a separate star piece that can be placed on the background for extra detail.
